News

Recently promoted to Senior Instructional Designer at work, which is shocking and flattering and terrifying.

Working on the marketing stuff for Daddy's is really fun, but I find I have a tendency to want to sarcastically insult my own writing so the world doesn't think I take myself too seriously. I am probably not alone in this urge.

Recently read Julie Hecht's The Unprofessionals. It was very much like Mary Robison's Why Did I Ever, in a way, except for the character in The Unprofessionals seemed a lot less sure of herself, or even her own standing as a human being on the planet Earth. Loved it.

I have been submitting far fewer stories of late, and also getting a lot of "This is really great! But we don't want it, thanks." This is keeping me humble extremely effectively, which is a good thing, as my dad once casually informed me "You think you're special and you act accordingly," which I think he meant as a compliment? but which I took as the worst news ever, ever, ever.

Today we are going to eat Lebanese food followed by chips and salsa while we watch the Bengals game. Speaking of, Ochocinco's Twitter feed is extremely enjoyable, if not eye-bleedingly prolific.

Good day, sun shines!
There have been times of hardship when I felt unhappy missing knowledge about opportunities of getting high yields on investments. I was a dump and downright pessimistic person.
I have never imagined that there weren't any need in big initial investment.
Nowadays, I'm happy and lucky , I started to get real money.
It gets down to choose a correct partner who uses your money in a right way - that is incorporate it in real deals, and shares the income with me.

You can get interested, if there are such firms? I have to answer the truth, YES, there are. Please be informed of one of them:
